Clothes Show Live Nica Competition

On the 10th of December 2013 I was invited to attend the creative awards at Clothes Show Live, for the Nica competition, as one of the 10 finalists. I had an amazing day and I won 1st prize for my design. My bag was modelled down the catwalk and will now be retailed at Nica in their spring/summer collection, I can't wait for the work experience in the summer. I would like to say thank you for all the support I have had . I met Zandra Rhodes who is a fashion designer and even met one of my favourite youtubers Mazzie Maz. It explains where I get my inspiration from and why my design was chosen. I have a video of the competition, which starts with all the designs being walked down the catwalk and then at 2.18 mins in the video when they announce that I have won.

 

Paint and Pottery with Polly

Today I had such a lovely day. I went to Paint and Pottery with Polly. I haven't been since I was about 8 years old. We both chose to draw on plates. I was torn between 3 ideas for the drawing, the first one being winter in New York, secondly an old fashion type writer or finally hot air balloons. I chose to draw and paint winter in New York and Polly drew flowers with a lovely quote. After 2 hours of drawing, painting and talking we both finished our plates. I had forgotten how peaceful painting on pottery was. We are both excited to pick up our plates on Friday. We then went to Cafe Rouge for lunch, where we talked a lot. I would highly recommend going with friend.

Camden Market

I went up to Camden Market to have my first day on a market stall, it was an amazing day and I learnt so much. Here are some photos of the day and some of my products that I brought up with me.
