INTRO:
The Industrial Revolution has transformed the way society functions dramatically. It changed the mindset of society to one that can create opportunities and solves problems. This time was a very interesting era full of engineers, scientist, designers and philosophers that were pushing boundaries in every area.
This post, documents all of my research sources into the Industrial Revolution into one place. My full detailed notes can be found in my private document.
I think that it is important to understand fully this period of time because to design systems for the future one should know the past. It is interesting how innovation, politics, money, natural resources, economics, business and religion all fit together. It is also interesting how design thinking, was utilised to the fullest for mass change.
